Can a traditional magazine be published for less than $5000?

Hopefully it will be possible to put some useble info in this thread.

I went to the bookstore today and bought Cl***ic Motorsports ( Nov), Thoroughbred & Cl***ic Cars ( Oct ), and the 10 anniversary issue of The Rodders Journal.

    More than $30 total...
But I thought they were worth it

Although I think OSR is bit "scenesterish" for my taste (I like to refer to it as "Posedown at the Rockabilly Corral"), I'll still pick it up and check out the cars if it's in front of me.

Although traditional rods & custom type mags are my fav, I pretty much like all car magazines, whether they're about traditional rods & customs, choppers, sports cars, sports bikes, (gasp!) muscle cars, (double gasp!!) tuners!!!, whatever. I don't give a ****. As long as they haul *** when you stand on the pedal or twist the throttle, I'm pretty much down with it. Cars and bikes that either have history or haul *** (preferably both!) have always put a smile on my face.

I really like the new "Motor Trend Cl***ic".

Really- Don't remember seeing it- Sorry.

Thanks Grim and Shapes for getting the humor- I just tried to make a post where everyone could vent in a non-threatening/non-aggressive manner. If those void of a sense of irony don't get the joke and choose to attack me and not get the sarcasm so be it. I don't think any of us would want to go on without magazines- what would we all have to ***** about? ;)
