View attachment 2959831 I acquired 2 sets of stainless mufflers. I have no idea of the sound quality of each set. They are about the same size with the major difference being one set is center in, offset out and the other set is offset in, offset out. Bother have 2" inlet/outlet. One set is Borla hemi mufflers. The other set is Dynomax ultraflos. I'm going to use one set in my 37 Dodge with a 354 hemi and Dodge hemi truck exhaust manifolds. Any opinions on sound or quality of the mufflers. I don't have any idea except maybe the offset vs center setup. Also i found a vendor that repops oval exhaust pipe like Pontiac use to use. That should help with ground clearance. http://www.spintechmufflers.com/tubing-oval-round-transitions/cat_97.html
Just a wild**** guess joker, but I'll say its in a Dodge with a 354 hemi and Dodge hemi truck exhaust manifolds. A 37 dodge truck to be persnickety . Not bad for a cross between a guess & mind reading- all that from wearing Tin foil hats
Both are "turbo mufflers" that doesn't mean a muffler to run behind a turbo it is the style of muffler. Neither is a packed muffler it is a baffled muffler and either is going to give you that late model car sound that we all are shooting for. So it is really a matter of what will fit your application and not sound that is important. Center in offset out or offset, offset. Which one fits best?
As far as the sound goes, I don't know. I would only use 300 series stainless if it were my car. So if only one is 300 series use it.
It's a hemi, use the hemi mufflers, geez. I've always liked the sound of dynomax turbo mufflers, used them multiple times I don't think either will sound bad, use what fits centered or offset.
