Which skirts should i run..?

ok..i'm still looking for some skirts to run on my car..my question is,should i get stock style 54 skirts or some skirts with a lip at the bottom?or should i just get stock style ones and ADD a lip to them before i paint them?i'm not really sure if the lip'd take away from the nice rear fenders that the 54 chevies have..that's basically why i'm staying away from cruiser skirts.i'm wanting something that compliments my car's lines and i'm thinking skirts with a lip'll give a subtle accent but i dont want something that'll totally take your eyes away from the mostly stock body..what do you guys think?

Personally I'd run the stockers and smooth over the entire skirt. No lips

i have seen some really nice looking stock skirts extended down flush with bottoms of fender. really looked cool.. if you,re so inclined, i have a set ofNOS foxcraft skirts for your 54..100 bucks
