The state that most accurately represents hot rodding today is the state of confusion.

10 yrs ago I would have said Indiana and it's surrounding states hands down. With the internet and the HAMB it has broadened my horizons. The fact that we can come here and see that nearly every state in the union has it's share or cars and car events is great.
The only limitations separating #1 from #50 would be the length of the seasons to be able to use your car.

 

I have always been impressed with the show of hot rods on the I5 but have really never been sure if they are guys from WA heading south or returning home or vise versa for the CA.
But I can say Ive seen a lot of open cars in WA which surprised me a little.
Maybe they are just tougher or a chill resistant crowd up there.

There are quite a few States not had a mention yet!

 

i don't know about Hotrodding, but as far as RAT rodding, Florida takes the cake. i've seen more hideous crap in the pages of magazines from that state than anyplace in the US. lol Must be the humidity or something. Love that state though, no disrespect
I think for hotrodding, California has to be #1. El Mirage, Famoso, Grand National Roadster Show, HMB drag strip, Bobs Big Boy, Ed Roth, Gene Winfield, Wally Parks.....enough reasons yet?

cali , az and nevada all have it over the rest of the states because of there weather.... but The mid west has some badddd assssss hotrods out here too !!!! we get 6 mo. of crap weather to deal with so we stay in the gargage and build something cool !!
