I think the Rally wheels look clean on these. Run a aftermarket cap if you want a bit older look.

Radir 5 spokes... Very period correct on a 63 Chevy..at least in my part of the world.

GM Ralley wheel is tough to beat ,many different diameters and widths are available , change color and center caps and you have a new set of wheels any time you want to .

  10. You can even use old washing machine controls for rally center caps IMG_6733.jpeg

  11. Made me laugh! I really like rally wheels in the right applications, been buying them since I was a teenager. They also make good spares for farm machinery.

So, curious, have you ever had any 14x5 or 15x5 rally wheels?

You guys are making it hard to decide. They all look good. I gotta stick to $500 budget. Someone has to have some ratty Torq thrust or cragars 14-15’s out there

They would look great but they're kind of outside of the budget idea he has.

People regularly use the sbc in Fords why not use Mercury hubcaps on a Chevy?

I have 6x14"s on the 62 and 7x15"s on the 61. Both were very old sets. The 15s were brand new , but old stock, and the 14s needed sandblasting because they were very rusty. After blasting I painted the wheel centers the body color and the rims bright silver.

20250608_053721.jpg X2, what is the OP's location? American TT's, original, a pair of 14x7 and a pair of 14x6 direct fit for Chevy are here in my shop. With caps. For less than what you want to spend.

San Diego is on the other side of the continent! That would be costly. There's got to be a set closer. But there may be a way to relay them there.

I’ve got a plan: you take a vacation to San Diego with atleast 3 other people. Each person takes a wheel as a carrying on when you fly down. I’ll pick you up at the airport.

back in the late seventies I had the silver 15x6 Rally wheels with the police caps on my white with red interior two-door hardtop Impala... origional 283 with three on the tree. I thought it looked pretty good.
I never should have sold that car... but I couldn't refuse the offer... three times what I paid for it.

I am currently running Rallys on my '61. I also have a set of Torq Thrusts, and a set of stock white steel wheels with factory '61 dog dish caps.

  28. I know the narrower ones are more difficult to find, I think my single set have rubber on them, so I don’t have a measurement, I doubt they are as narrow as 5 inches. Pontiac, ford and mopar are easier to find in 14 inch. I’m not an expert, just an aficionado.
