Which would you choose & why?

If you could pick between a GMC 6 with a Wayne 12 port head and 5 Stromberg's or a Blown Ardun.....which would you choose and why? This is a decision I may have to make soon and was just curious as to what you guys think....

I would say GMC - it is unique. The Ardun is defenitely not something that you see every day, but it has become a sort of status symbol of how thick your checkbook is. The GMC sounds like it is one cool and unique mill, and if my life was riddled with such decisions, the 6 would have my vote.

 

Ardun if it,s going in a Ford,GMC if not

 

The Ardun is way more valuable.

 

You ahve my deepest sympathy for being in a position to have to make this choice. No matter which you choose half of your friends will think you're a dork.

 

I would pick neither, my engine of choice is a TPI 305 Chevy!!!!! No seriously it all depends on what your building, if it was for my Chevy it would be the six and if was for a Hot Rod it would be the ARDEN...Both great choices just dont pick the TPI 305 LOL

Go with the Ardun cus there just is nothing cooler than a blown Flat head with Ardun heads!!

The first motor I ever remember seeing and falling instantly in love with was a Sc.OT blown ARDUN head flattie. There in lays both my answer and dilemma. I will never be able to afford one.

The Ardun, 'cause it's a V8. And I tend to like symmetry in engines.

 

Yep, Boris has it right. They are both fine choices, but the subtlety is lost w/the Ardun.
