I tried a search but could not find the answer. I have a 1952 chevy 2 door deluxe and am in need of a rear bench seat. I'm having a hard time finding one around town but have found a 52 4 door chevy and a 2 door coupe that I might be able to get the seats out of. Does anyone know what years or if a 4 door or a coupe rear seat would work? Thanks
the four door seets are a little diff. they ar rounded for slidding in and out where the 2 door seats are squar on the front corners it will word they just look a little bit odd in the back because of the rounded front corners
2 door sedan and 2 door coupe will have the same back seat, Fleetlines are different, at least on the top half. Hardtop and vert seats are different as well. 4 door bottoms kind of bulge out where the door opening us. probably wouldn't be too difficult to modify one to fit a 2 door. I would guess the tops on the 4 doors are the same as 2 doors.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll call a few listings locally and see if they are willing to sell just the rear seat. If I have to I will try and make the 4 door bench work.
Still have yet to find a seat for mine. From what I can tell I need a rear bench that has the back part of it that looks like a T. Because I have the wheel wells sticking out so square back part would not fit. I posted up a thread in the parts wanted but everyone just had the square back not the T. How uncommon is this T back bench seat? ha
