The truck is looking really great and getting really close too ….. I think you should use them - the waterfall nose makes a rather large statement and, as has been said, having nothing would upset the balance. For my truck I started with a 41 hood and the waterfall nose but with my shop truck theme being a bit less chrome is more, I went with the 40 nose piece plugging up the top bused holes. I even tried 39 Delux whiskers and the 40 standard under whiskers with the nose - it looked different but I could not get the right look I wanted. Stock whiskers for your truck is my vote ….
You have the shiny new parts and you didn't fill the holes before you painted the hood, it's a no brainier! HRP
Can't beat the original designer's intent (IMO). Those art deco days were a unique part of history. At a car show there will be many closeup beauty shots taken and memories made. Keep the trim! Love the truck!
