Hot Rods White colored wheels

Followed Colonial White.... A black midget, sprint, or champ car from the 50’s with Wimbledon white scallops with red 1/4” pinstripes..... nothing better.

 

Deans right. Every woody wagon and station wagon had white wheels, dumped in the front for a nice rake and surfer decals in the back side windows when I was growing up.... me too.

Anybody else, for a split second, try to figure out just what the hell was going with that HUGE velocity stack? Couldn't figure why such a great coupe had such a messed up intake.

Then my brain caught up to my eyes. Ohhh...it's a trash can behind the car. It's been a long day.

Any one else notice that this Coupe looks to have a 32 grille shell turned sideways? I would think that two 32 shells would have been used, cut in half, and both top pieces welded together. I'd like to see it from the front.
