Now that is bitching!!!! One of the best cars I ever owned was a 62 Strato Chief I got from a little old lady for $200. It had a 261 in it and got damn near thirty miles per gallon. What you should probably do with that wagon now is trade me for my Merc.
We're in the middle of a blizzard here as I speak. I hate winter....

I feel for you... the wagon looks bitchin

that brings back bad memories of pulling the 4sp out of my camaro and it was snowing out front of my grandmothers when I was a Senior in High School.. Had a tarp over it but the wind kept blowing and I was changing gloves were few minutes (the other pair went into the dryer to get warm) as they were constently wet from the snow around me.. With no garage and only enough money to buy a cheap clutch it all I could do to get it running again to get back and forth to school... Luckily my grandmother was willing to come out every so often to swap gloves with me...

Hatch...you're crazy, man. That would be a cool custom though!

  13. that wagon looks awsome. i am a wagon-aholic! can't get enough! lowering really makes a difference! im no good at photo shop(im strugglin' just to type) but i think that thing needs a little help on those rear wheel openings. kinda a faux skirt i think would look cool. not a full skirt , just a little lower and more shaply. 64 65 falcon rear openings come to mind. probably not big enough to actually fit in real life, but you know what im sayin'.

if one were REAL ambitious, it might not be totally impossible to cut out the rear wheel openings and add in 62 chevy or maybe even the more tear dropped 59 chevy openings. of course you've got a good ride in the first place with apparently solid quarters, so best not to fuck with it, just a thought!

Sweeeeet!, I have always said that 60's wagons look better with an altitude adjustment. [IMG]

  17. I think it looks cool as is. A new paint job would be cool, but just lowering it and driving the fuck out it is equally as cool. longroofs rule..

I agree... some paint and I think it's good to go. Wagon's are cool though... there are so many things you can do to 'em. But paint, some mild shaving and even some skirts might be nice. I think the most work though would be having some fun with the interior with some crazy carpeting or something... shag wagon?
