White Devil 31 Coupe Build

Thanks man im trying! There should be some good updates soon!!! My buddy has a mock up trans so maybe this or next weekend I can get the motor mounts and trans mount all welded in and get the vega box welded back in! "hopefully" I feel like it will be a HUGE change to get the motor sitting in there with the tripower then ill need some headers to make it start looking like a car!

 

Daily driver = electric fan...well in NJ traffic...

Bar hopper hot rodder = mech. fan ....well tradional anyway

Well I got alot of welding done on some of the frame parts and body today before it started to rain. Nothing special to take pictures of but Im trying to get some work done on the car. Its been hard lately alot of stuff going on, gma illness, work etc and I NEED SOME INSPIRATION...(I even watched mad fab and it didnt do it) WHATS GOING ON!!!!!! HELP!

I cant make the drags I had a social distortion concert booked before it came out......come on guys help!!!

I dont know skunx......pretty good but jimmy's tuff to beat!

 

Well got some more little stuff welded up. Cut a couple notches where needed with the ol plasma and played with ride height a little. Heres some pics since I havent had time to post any lately. My 3rd carb is being sent as we speak so I can finish my tripower...The small block wants to go in there SOOO BAD!!!

Have a sick Gma....drove 10 hrs to see her this weekend...no work on the coupe. Maybe next week

 

Third carb came in for me to rebuild and pops is coming over tommorow to help me get the motor mounts in etc. So possibly have the motor sitting in it tommorow which will include my first big update in a while!

I got a mock up trans so Im going to try to saturday..just heard that my Gma is back in ICU so another big bump in the road..sounds like my pops will have to go back up there this weekend so it might hurt the motor getting in but Ill do what I can...will promise pictures of something though!!!

My pops and mom flew up there this morning because shes not doing great. Im going to get what I can done today and post some pictures...promise that there WILL be a update today you can count on that!

 

This is a great thread Devil! I cant belive the steady progress you are making, you seem to be determined to finish this thing soon..

 

Well I didnt get my motor mounts welded in today being that I only had 1 set of hands and my pops was out of town tending to my sick gma. BUT I did......
finish modifying a ford v8 rod to fit my column (3 pieces of flat stock on the top and bottom hand bent, cut, welded, grinded to make the rod fit my column)

Got my trans mount and brake booster cut off the frame (had to cut them off to move them being that my wheelbase is no longer that of a limo's)

Got my vega moved forward, measured and all welded up with an extra reinforment

Got the engine lowered in and measured up so when my pops gets back this week we can get the motor mounts cut and all welded up

Its coming along despite the usual road bumps but overall for working this morning and early afternoon I got alot of work done today getting back into the groove of things....
