    What is a good white wall cleaner for my bias ply Firestone's.?

    I have been using Westley's for years. if your tires are really dirty use westley's and fine scotch-brite.

    I use plain old household bleach. Sprintz a little on the whitewalls just before doing a smokey tire burnout. :)

    Gumption (a gritty domestic cleaning product), stiff nylon brush and a liberal application of elbow grease. Scrub and scrub - no subs***ute.

    sorry wasn't on here last week and im still struggling to learn my way around here. LOL. Thanks for all the info. I was wonderin if the colored cleaners would stain it so i was hesitant to use them. You know the price of these tires didn't want to ruin them.

    Bon Ami, nylon brush, scrub, scrub, rinse, repeat...repeat. Been doing this for years. (Don't forget to put the cleanser back where you found it, otherwise the spousal sermon follows
