Beautiful car! Is it hard to get the rear wheel/tires off the car? Looks like the situation on my '57 before radiusing the wheelwells. Had to jack up the body and let the rear axle "hang" at full extension & still just barely had enough room to get 'em out.
My son and I took the 56 for a cruise around the beach today. Im still waiting to get some styling components...finned valve covers, air cleaner, new hood emblem and some other stuff. Overall just really enjoying car almost everyday. I have to bring my sons 55 inside just so he can sit in it to watch cartoons! I think hes got the bug!!! Heres a couple pics and videos too.....
Here it is with the new smaller blower pulley...over 4psi of boost now instead of 2...BIG DIFFERENCE! Soundin pretty tuff through the exhaust now
Thanks guys for the kind words. No we havent raced yet but he spends alot of time in his car so he has it down to a science. Hed probably get me out of the gate he has a hell of a reaction time! Im just workin on this car little bits at a time....
Keep up the work, the 55 looks awsome and if I had a kid he would have one realy similar. The 56 is also comming along pretty good. I second new valve covers and a little re-modeling under the hood.

Everything is going good just been really busy with work, cruising the 56 and working on the house...
Well a update doing some more work on the 56. Got rid of the ol exhaust and got some 3'' tucked exhaust on (looks MUCH better!) and also got ahold of a new richmond super T10 to replace the worn out saginaw in the car now....my son seems to love it already
Heres the new trans and my little man.....havent posted much in a while been too busy working on the motor and driving it everyday im off work.
