Here's my list, in no particular order, and somewhat incomplete. The boss hisself, Ryan, because he's given us a place that's no more nor less than a rainbow gathering for us misfits. DrJ, because he's weird. Cole, because he's brilliant. Junkyard Dog, because he's got tons of cool shit. C9, because his stories rule. AV8, because he knows hot rods. FrenZ, because he knows kustoms. Manyolcars, because we don't see eye to eye. RF, because he's a pop star. FRITZ, because anyone who wears his undies on the outside has got to rule. Moriarty, because the spirit of Ed Big Daddy Roth lives within him. Barnett, because he lays lines like no ones businesss. Carps, because he's Australian, ditto for Brootal and Psychobilly Boi, even though I hate psychobilly. Sailor, because I really dig the cat a lot. Fat Hack, because he's down to earth. Plowboy, because he's a visionary. Evel, because I think he can help me in the music biz. Bleed, because he makes better doughnuts than Dunkin' Donuts. Hotrodladycruiser, Gracie and ActionGirl, because I love women. There's many, many more, but these are the ones that came off of the top of my head. Y'all are like friends to me, albeit ones I've never met. If it was a perfect world we'd all be sitting in some dive tipping back a few and telling tall stories. Maybe when we're all dead this will become some kind of mystic reality, until then, rock on and may the Detroit Pistons win the NBA title again.
I've met him and he's an alright dude, so's Mud, I miss both of 'em. Ngo Long Dong wants us all dead. I'm glad that Dr. Knobchieze finally hit the bucket.....assdouche.

Not part of my immediate plan, been to way too many funerals in the past few weeks. However that does rais the issue of people I have met, who I wished I'd met with enough time to get to know them better. Top of that list is an old codger we met at the first Goodguys Hot Rod Nat's at Pomona. We arrived early and this old bloke was at the gate with his red deuce. recognised our weird accents when the people there told us we were a day early. Took us under his wing, crammed us in his old Rodney and then proceeded to chauffer us around and introduced us to all and sundry so that when we arrived officially the following day we already had lots freinds. That's one of the reasons I always trell people it's not just about the cars, they are simply the glue that binds us together, it's about the people. As a hot rodder I know I can travel just about anywhere in the world and I'll find ;family' to look after me and make sure I have a great time. The list of names already in my address book is testament to that and waaaay longer than any list of people I'd like to meet in the future.
