Almost met you Nads (and Mike) when I was in Orlando but you guys had a wedding thing to do (not to each other I hope.) Tried to find Ryan about 6 times at the Round - Up but never succeeded. Guess I'd like to meet the Left Coast guys the most 'cause that would mean either I was over there on vacation (definition = at a car show that I had to fly to) or they were over here on the right coast seeing how the Right Coast does it. Dennis

hell, i'd like to atleast meet everyone on here once...in my couple years as a hamber, i've had the opportunity to meet alot of great people from all over the country...hell, even some from overseas. i've met people who have shared great amounts of information, stories, inspiration, and laughs. what a strange family this is..... there should be a post about the funniest things you've seen a hamber do or say!
Artists: Dan Picasso Barnett N8inks BRUSH Sean72 ?? Roadapple Skate fink Jonny Ace/ Kali Keith Weesner(if he's on here) & Ryan for designing this playground!

Grimlock: to talk track noses Unkl Ian and Oldgoaly (tt): like talking to some of the metalshapers folks Metalshapes: same reason Whizzer Rick: to talk patternmaking and casting with Cole: because i'm a pathological namedropper.. lol Nads: because I can think of at least 3 occaisions where his posts had me laughing hysterically. Kirk!: seems funny too All of the folks who post on the art show regularly: < they rule! Weez: because he could answer questions I have about a truck in a painting he did D. Picasso: for the insane amount of talent the Harpoon: to talk metalflake Anybody on here who does tool, die, or moldmaking work!!! Anybody with a Yoder K-90-M for sale. Gracie: because she seems interesting.. Ryan ,to say thanks for the board and to dribble on his coupe. FlatErnie again so i can get that bloody trans kit from him.
I would like to meet everyone but at my age, even if I met all of you, I would not remember each name. I might remember the car though. This HAMB name thing is really a problem for me as I have a hard time with names and now I have to put two names to same person. Each year after the HAMB drags, as we visit online, I finally put a HAMB name and a picture of someone, or a car and someone together. I regret then that I did not visit with this person at the drags because they were someone I had always wanted to meet. This year at the drags, I hope we can come up with some way to keep track of everyone. My HAMB name tag is the license plate on my truck.
I'd like to meet as many HAMBers as I can, the ones I've met in person so far in person have been cool. Ryan, thanks for the opportunity to do so in the first place.
I wanna meet Tingler and Desertratrodder because they want to meet other people.... I tried to meet up with av8 out on the salt LAST SUMMER but he didn't show! Damn, I was pissed. DRD57 was there along with many other hambers like Lurker Mick [he's my new hero for making a 'class body look traditional without going the rat-rod route] and "old farts & old fords" [Don Palfreyman]. Elmo Rodge is no longer on my list....met him and liked him alot. I wanna meet Brandy because I'm told she doesn't need to stuff her bra. No, I mean.........so we can swap Pontiac speed secrets.. I wanna meet RF....Dan Picasso, INjected A, Brad54, Earl Schieb, Tommy, Gracie, Bruce Lancaster, Clark, Spank, Germ, Fat Hack,BLEH, definetely Harlan, and an entire host of HAMBers. I wanna meet everyone of you'se before I kick it and I'm doin my best to do that.... I need to meet Harlan [banned] because anybody that can whip out his very own Olds sheetmetal tunnelram-style intake in a shop class at school is going somewhere.....I wanna meet him...
I'd just like to actually talk to someone I've met. I'm kinda shy in person. Maybe its because I'm ugly? I've stood right next to a bunch of HAMBers and never even introduced myself. Hell, I bought a Mad Fabricator's DVD from Evil at the Detroit Autorama and never said hi. Call me anti social, I guess. Tops on my list is, still, Unkl Ian because he knows everything. um, Plowboy for the visionary thing mentioned previously... and we can talk about Skid Row and Steelheart. that chick that intro'd... the one with the boobies. She is nice. Mikey like. Ryan who has more patience than anyone, anywhere.... ever! Cleatus. (Have you seen his car?) Jimmy White. (Do you know where he keeps his model A and if the building has an alarm?) oldbeet... just because. Tman because he bought parts from me once. Once. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think this early. ...and I don't want to meet NADS, I just want to hump his leg.
nosurf zman redmeat 4ever4 barnett traveling boot ho 60's style rocky nads many more i'm sure.....i'd really like to meet all of you hodads even if you don't want to meet me- "nobody wants to play with me" everyone i've met on the hamb have been good people, with a few exceptions I will be at PASO pulling my daughter in a hotroded radio flyer, and I'll be at Billetproof in my '28 RPU.
I'd like to mee tjust about every one I've talked to here, although Cherry Blossom particulary because she's the one that kind of got me started around here. And Nads definatly for starting this thread and saying ass dousche. Erin
Roger's right, this does read like a little girl's popularity contest, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it to sound like that, but it almost seems like I know a lot of you guys (and gals) personally even though I've never met you. I know a lot of people condemn the internet, and message boards in particular, for diluting face to face interpersonal relationships but I think this place obviously isn't that shallow. I've met some of the coolest people I know because of the HAMB, that's no lie, and the inspiration that I get from them keeps me going when I feel like chucking it all in. Y'all are good people.
35pickup, I think you and I have met at Denise's at the Autorama, at least we were in the same room I think. Ha Ha Ha Most people that meet me aren't really impressed afterwards. I am just a drunken miserable asshole....really, ask anyone. Nads you are up at the top of my list. If I am ever forced to go to Disney World I will look you up! ......and as much as I think California embodies everything that is wrong with this country, I would like to go out there one of these days because there are a lot of cool mofos out there I'd like to meet. Texas is on my list too. I would like to make the Lone Star roundup one of these years but I would have to fly out at the last minute to be there just because it is right at corn planting time. The So-What crew seems great too. Maybe I can get over to Columbus GG if they are there sometime. I would like to meet Ryan too. I just find it amazing that the dude shells out all of the cabbage to run this site so a bunch of whiners can bitch about him, Ha Ha Ha.
I never signed anyone's yearbook in high school either... I'm glad I've already met Denise, had a ride in Big Olds, and ate a cookie or two. I would gladly repeat any of those experiences. I'm bummed that I made it all the way to Long Beach and didn't look up DrJ. I'm really pissed that I made it all the way to Viva and was too sick to do much more than grunt at the HAMBers I did meet, but it was cool to put faces to names like Flatshoebox, zman and A32Limey and some others whose names I didn't catch or retain. I didn't talk to Von Franco or Coupe de Cab since I've never known what to say to celebs. Looking forward to getting to Orlando again soon and meeting Nads and Mike so I can shuffle my feet and look around and not know what to say. I would like to meet and thank Ryan in person some day. Not all of us can say that we've created something that people will still be talking about in 20 years.
