After posting a link earlier about the restoration of the Ted Frye belly tank lakes racer i got too wondering who else built/raced belly/drop tanks at the dry lakes?

I couldn't start out this thread with out mentioning Alex Xydias of the So. Cal speed shop.

Frank Oddo’s tank with 351 Cleveland power under construction. At the time he was a magazine/free lance guy with limited funds. No one wanted to sponsor a set of headers for him but Hedman offered him all of the materials and I volunteered to do them at my home in Manhattan Beach.
No action shots, I don’t know what happened to it or if it’s still around. Sorry for the photos of photos
The arrival; my deuce out front with the SBC (the Big Block expired)

In the Tattersfields-Streamliner thread, @Bobby Green said: "Check out these pics..... The 2nd one will make you cry. Most of head firing cut off and turned into a front engine dragster. Eeek !!!
I found this pic in an old hot rod trends book. Said it was dragging in Texas. Just might be it's final resting place. Hmmmmm Ryan ?? Better start looking !!!
Most likely these kids that were dragging it, ended up scrapping it for a pair of rails and a hemi. But ya never know ......"
Looking at the URL for the pic he posted:

it looks like the pic came from Trend book 106. Does anyone have that book? Does it have any more details?
I don't think it is the Tattersfield car hacked-up. There wouldn't be much left and the rear fin looks taller on the Wolf car.

I was talking to Frank Oddo on the salt in about 82-83 era, and he said his tank was the old Burke tank. true or not...
