Just what the title says. Looking now to book my room and wonder about whether I should trailer the RPU up to MOKAN so's I'll at least have somewhere I can chain it down and keep it from disappearing.

    Thanks!

  2. I'm sure there are other cars the thieves would rather steal... just drive it.

Bob K handles room reservations. Breeder and crew are usually out till the wee hours policing up the lot, or were the police watching them, I can't remember. Gary

Its good to know someone will be watching. I've contemplated driving the daily with the trailer up that way so I can park on the trailer and at least have something to chain down to. It is scary, and this little RPU has so much sentimental value I'd hate to see anything happen to it.

There has never been a problem all these years at the Ramada in Joplin. A fight once but no thefts etc. No worries people will be up and around at all hrs. Also that's what insurance is for. Drive it you won't regret it!!

So I can leave the bazooka at home?

  8. Considering the party in the parking lot almost went until dawn last year, I think the official hotel is one of the safest places to park!

Yeah... Cryin' shame I missed that, T-bolt. I'll miss out again this year - shop I work for got shut down by the economy last week, so it's back to the hustle. I'm gettin' too old for this shit. And this was supposed to be the year I finally showed up there with my car (just installed a new converter, just for the occasion, too)...

I think that last year the parking lot was being watched by the "masked security"........they did not want their identity known in case something went down.
