On stock cars we didn't use to call em "quarter eliptical" , it was just known as a half leaf, and you just cut a spring in half, welded the end stack where it was cut, dtill a new center hole for the locating pin, and you've got 2 same rate springs out of one. I don't suppose Posies takes too kindly to that since it would cut spring sales in half........they'd rather give it a fancy name and charge 3 times normal to make you think there must be something special.
Hey , I just bought a 27 that in the mock up he showed the springs. I think I will get them. If I do I'm not going to use them. I'll let you know in a day or two. TP]
