Well, I went to a small private school, so most of the kids didn't have nice cars. Most were beaters, two had mommy and daddy buy them a car. One had her parents buy a '08 Buick for here, only to wreck it a few months later. So they bought her a brand new KIA... Same girl who called my track garbage!!
Anyways, i'd like to think this one was the coolest, not because it was anything special ( it was 10 years old, V6, auto, scratch and dent special) but it was mine, bought with my hard earned cash, and I did ALL the work to it!
Sorry it is WAY of topic....

A classmate, a very rich girl, showed up in a 1956 Mercedes SL coupe. Her mother didn't like the gull wings so she made her husband trade it for a 1956 Thunderbird. This was in Euclid Ohio not a very wealthy suburb. I think about that to this day.

My car was not the coolest but I liked it and wish I still had it,,,,,,,,,1955 Chev convert.

  10. Not my school ride, but drove my brother to school with it.
When everybody else's Nova was sky high or rear quarter bondo flares in the early 80's, this lowered Nova was a instant hit with the school kids.

Bought a 67 dodge coronet R/T 440/727 console car off the used car lot for $700.00 sophomore year. By graduation it was doing the quarter 10.89 148mph at Connecticut dragway 1977. Loved that car and wish I still had it.

I had the best looking legs in high school from walking 3 miles each way back in the 80s. Well maybe not but i was in good shape. Lots of cool cars but a 471 blown 57 chevy 2 door post and a white 66 nova ss both adorned with the beautiful cragar ss wheels. I knew I had a problem when I thought of them more than the sexy girls and school. Well ok about the same then. I could have been retired buy now if I could have left both of those alone. Oh too much fun though. I didnt even have a car that moved on its own and was in one piece till i got my 63 ss nova after graduating. Where has the time gone?

His last name was sakawich. He had a metallic blue 64 chevy pickup lowered with a nasty sounding
    Small
Block, always liked that truck. Now I got one of my own.

  30. I probably did. 69 Nova. 327 SBC, 671 blower, 660 center squirters, 10 point cage, steel tilt front end. 411 gears. Wish I still had it. It was very fast, could pull the front wheels. Did not stop well at all. Wild ride, and unpredictable. Broke lots of parts to!!:D:D
