I know how bad this kinda stuff ****s happened on my sedan on the way home from the last paso. on a fresh motor. I would hate for him to miss Santa Maria.... He
may already have something lined up but a nice quick swap would be awesome

I think Bad Bob sent him his personal AAA driver though :]

 

Type of motor would be helpfull.

Oh ****!!! That's ****s!!!! Ian I'm really sorry for you dude. I thought losing a Caddy cap was bad on the way to work today but now I don't feel bad.

What kind of motor are you looking for? I have a 365 Cadillac Eldo motor with an NOS Weiand 2x4 intake that I am starting to debate whether to get rid of or not.

 

**** just sold an SBC....good runner too! I am sure the powers of the HAMB will come through for Mr. Berky and the car will be back and running in no time.

 

Cheap crate motor from one of the parts stores, install it in the parking lot. I know a couple folks that have done that over the years.

 

he was on the 210.... back at home now......

 

I have a 283 that smokes a bit. Probably want somthing a little better

 

just got off the phone with him... he is thinking just a crate... it will be at Santa Maria he says though!!!! you guys are rad....

Hey,

Beware of cheap auto parts "long block" repuilds/exchanges & "Target Motors"! The Target Motors (hecko in Mex-e-co) are notorious for bad cam shafts and valve guides.
Probably best to find someone who knows **** from Shinola 'bout building Shiv-o-lays, and have them build you one or use yours as a core.

Cheap motors/rebuilds are like cheap women, usually not a good investment!
