John, a/k/a streetdreams starts up my 250 so I can see and hear it run for the first time.

 

1975 Ford 250 ci I6, Classic Inlines aluminum head, 9:1 compression, Comp 260H camshaft, Autolite 2100 carburetor:

 

Not really a hot rod but more of a cruiser it's a 51 Pontiac 239 flat six.

 

Runnin a 235 in my chevy -31

Our 5 generation 235 going on 62 years in our 53 150 engine bay. Now on 3 rd freshen up with triple ones & fentons , buckled up to Saginaw 4 speed with R10 warner overdrive.

 

Oh Hell Yes!!!!!

 

Update: two years later, and I've dressed it up some.
Still waiting on sorting out triple carbs, manifold and headers. Just found an alloy rocker cover that I will polish.

got a 53 Flat 6 with my 39 Hudson in pieces buy. Thought about it for a year but decided to sell it and go V8. A year later I don't regret selling it, maybe someday.

This one belongs to a friend of mine. He, his son, and his granddaughter have all set records in it at Bonneville. It's a supercharged 302 GMC.

 

...and thus VICTORY becomes all the sweeter, my friend.
All you need are 3 or 4 turbo's and whole bunch of nitrous. Easy!
