Here is a pic of my 64 and also a pic of my newly aquired 61 Wagon.... Oh yeah, I almost forgot....here is a pic of my 62....I haven't brought this one home yet....don't tell my wife......can you tell I am a fan of Galaxies?

I just watched your video again...too cool. My black 64 had the thunderbird 300 horse 390 in it with a 3 speed on the column....that car was a lot of fun....the guy I sold it to says I have first option on it when he is ready to sell...I can't wait.....
Black is a great color for these cars, either shiny or matte. I think that there were 2 times in the past when I was entertaining the idea of selling mine. I figured that I should see if it would run before setting a price and every time that it started (which was every time I cranked it) I backed out of any potential deals. Only really came close twice. ***BIG Sigh of relief*** I'll be watching the wagon thread, that fella that has been Photoshopping it is talented! Very cool way to make a plan, you already know how it is going to look when done. Good luck with that one!

Nice, Eddie! Is there a thread on that car already, or will you start one? I would like to follow. My engine is apart, along with some other stuff and when I start the reassembly I will probably post a separate thread. Pretty much all mechanical improvements this year. You'll see it when I do. Carbs are rebuilt, trans is cleaned up and will be resealed, started stripping the paint from the manifold today. Bill
I have a real nice 61 base model 2 door post. Body style 62 it says on the tag. The 351-C is ready to get a serious look and get in the car. Other than that, its slowly dyin in the back yard.
Got the CSP decal from a relative when she was a trooper. Worked her way up to major crime, now does Crime Scene Investigation. Thought there might come a day when it might help me out....never had to "use it".

I remember seeing the texas thunder galaxie at midamerica shelby meet in tulsa a few years back. I was in the burnout box waiting my turn and watch it take off still gives me goosebumps thinkin about it. Cool stuff!
That's nice! What color is that, if you don't mind my asking? I can't see Rangoon Red buffing out that 'bright', looks as if it might be a bit of a lighter shade. Bill

This one belongs to my Dad, who bought it new and still has it. 22,000 original miles 390, bench seat 4 speed/4.10 rear.
