Maybe not the biggest or most exotic, but if I could pick one collection to keep for my very own it would be George Poteet's. George grew up poor and still is employed by someone else. As nice a regular guy as you will ever meet.
Not many will get to see the collection, but you ever get a chance do it.

For me I would have to say Mr. Garlits or "Speedy" Bill Smith of (please don't hate me for this) of Speedway Motors in Lincoln

Years ago I had an opportunity to tour the collection before it was open to the public in the old facility. I have not seen the new one but I am tols only about 10% of the collection is on display.

  7. Man, if Leno had the 2.6 million back for the Bugatti Veyron alone, he could commission 26 - $100,000 hotrods!!!!

When my A pickup is done, I might have $15G into it total! I don't even think I could spend $100,000 on it if I tried. lol. Unless I started replacing metal with gold and glass with diamonds?!?!?

ps. no smart ass "math genius" replies!!! haha

Check your PM's. Also, I think that Bruce Meyers has one of the best collections that I have seen via photo's and "hear-say".

    .
Arturo Keller's collection in Petaluma is incredible with cars housed in separate buildings by country of manufacture.

Seeing Ron Pratt on TV at The BJ Auction he strikes me as just the arrogant SOB type that would fire everybody if his car wasnt ready to go in 15 minutes or whatever it is. Bad news for you Ron, nobody gets out alive and no one gives a shit how big a deal you are so enjoy it while you can "Big Deal". Id rather spend 10 minutes with Leno then a liftime with Pratt
