I believe its called TE-D20 its a gasoline / kerosene engine. The front rims are from another tractor the originals are much skinnier, but these works nice also
I admit that I don't know jack about tractors, but I was out and about this morning and saw these. Thought you may enjoy seeing them.
The Model U Minneapolis Moline that you see here, is one of the best stopping machines ever created! It does several other functions, extremely well too!
Some of my favorites, as seen and photographed by me at the Toledo Threshing bee, in Toledo Washington.
Engine I had given to me a year ago for my " tractor ". It has compression and hot spark. One of these days I'll get to it.
My old TD9. Started on gas and run on diesel. I cleared most of my place with it so I could build my house. Bought it from my boss when I was a Detroit Diesel mechanic. He was a great teacher and a good friend. He passed away a couple years ago and I just can't make myself scrap this thing....that track broke the last time it ever moved.
I’ve got a TD-9 also! Mine has a Hough loader on it! Bought it years ago, rebuilt the head, got it running loaded a lot of rocks with it! I would chain a huge rock in the bucket, take our 1030 Case Wheatland with a loader and put the bucket on the rear hitch of the TD-9….then lift the rock up and back our Military ten wheel drive dump truck under it and load the rock! Then we would dump the rock in our creek crossing! All in a days work on the ranch! Lol Bones
Saw this 1 while I was visiting some friends and family in California back in 2019. Ford Orchard Model 8-N or 9N I can't tell ??
Going by the radius arms, stamped steel dash and grille it would be a 42-47 2N. Assuming they have not been swapped out along the years.
48' 8N Funk with a (Wain-Roy) Sherman Power Digger 54B100 and Blackhawk dozer blade. Down for hoe repairs, building another digger arm. 40 9N Davis 100 front end loader and box blade. Makes a good ladder for cutting tree limbs.
I had this ' 56 Wheel Horse years ago when the kids were little. Governer disconnected, revs up, dump clutch and she'd wheelie as far as you wanted. Not a real tractor to some but its what I had, really wish I would have kept it... Mitch
