  2. Had mine on the road about four years. See our video below. Son driving while I did the camera work.
49 truck engine with T5. Banjo rear we found in a field.
    Damn! That car is fun...

  3. Messing with a couple.
The sedan started with a pile of chassis pieces that fell into my lap that eventually led to finding a titled body, that eventually ended up with this mocked up pile of stuff. 59ab, T5, and no change rear can't be seen here.

The roadster was built by a guy with similar tastes to mine. He put it together for his son who, unfortunately, got leukemia and died about the time it was "finished". While it was/is mostly complete, it had a few things that were quirky to me, so I'm tweaking it around to my memory of what I would have liked in the mid '60s. I'm working up a hood for it, already did the 5 spokes, and massaging the 283 and T10 it already had. All is good....... 003 (8).JPG 016.JPG 002a.jpg

i have a couple, i plan to get back to working on my flatty powered 32 soon, have had it for many years, it was my first 32, built it originally with a nailhead but now im rebuilding with a earlier time period in mine.
    downsized_0718141649.jpg
then i have another 32 5 window, i mocked it up a couple years ago mainly for easier parts storage but its along the lines what it will be when done.
    downsized_0606142009.jpg
and i have a 3rd 5 window, this one i got as a part pile and figured id better start whipping it together so i dont get cold feet and get rid of it so thats what i did, this is the better side, it was the side that was more accessable on my frame table, so now its down from there and i can get to the driver side but havent had the time to work on it.
    downsized_1129142049.jpg
and i have a roadster, itll be channeled flathead powered pre-war or early post war car, its on a shelf out of the way!
    downsized_0411141722.jpg
and i have two tudors, well 3 actaully but one is a parts body (not pictured) for my rough vicky project
    322dr.jpg downsized_0902031003.jpg 030.JPG
then i have a fordor too, it has a blown olds, hope to get it going in the next year or two.

Titus: That's how I started my Vicky with a back half, 2 door doors, 4 door cowl and 2 door sub rails. Eventually turned into a 6 figure car. I was lucky and had a metal man that understood.

i may be the winner of the most crappy 32s! but im only 33 and still have a fair amount of time to work on them, if i dont get em done, ill at least have something to do till i die! lol

Vickys are one of my favorites, i might actually get to piecing the body together this year, i have a nice tudor subrail set, nice tudor cowl, so so doors, i have some tudor quarter parts to make the passenger side quarter im missing so soon enough!

Moved stuff around in shop today to make room for the prewar roadster build I am hoping to take to the Race Of Gentlemen. Pulled this old gal out of the corner...she's the next in line.

  15. Hi Danny! Look's like I'm still too busy to make it to the "All Deuce Run" again this year but I'll try to plan for next year! I'm still hoarding all my Deuces and am finally done moving everything down from South Dakota. I am getting caught up with my construction projects now so I can get back to work on my old cars. I am going to cull the herd a bit by selling my wife's restored Model B roadster this summer too.

Here's the line up that's down in the Deuce Cave that's under my house. Three 5W's, a 3W, a Model B roadster, a Brookville roadster, a chopped Fordor and a chopped cabriolet. My pickup is up in the daily driver garage.

I'm still trying to get all my old signs, thermometers and pictures hung up but I'm running
    out of wall space.

  22. Man, I want a Deuce Cave!!!!

My sedan body is due to arrive in 2 weeks and then I will be sitting in it making car noises with my arm hanging out the window. The Metal Surgeon has just received my 276 Flathead that will be powering the sedan, and will send it my way soon.

Deuce Pickup is waiting on patch panels that will arrive with the sedan. Then I will be getting busy.

    Brady--
It would have to be a pretty sad pile of rust to not be good enough.

  27. Sure it is,I wouldn't mind it sitting in my garage. HRP

A friend Tim heard about this 32 Ford barn find a few years ago but could never get the guy interested in selling it. Last year he finally got his hands on the 32 Coupe. Now Tim is the hard headed guy who wants to build a driver and has no interest in selling this car to anyone.
When fellow H.A.M.B member 33WIRE is not busy working on his own or helping some of us with our projects, he has been masterfully helping Tim with design and fabrication ideas. The chassis is almost complete. Today he was finishing the layout for an interesting exhaust system design that may look tight but clears everything that will be under the car.
