I've been driving and working on my old hand-me-down Tudor for a few weeks now. And I'm loving every second behind the wheel.

    Don---
Is there a treatment program for this affliction? (I hope not)
I think they have a saying for other addictions that applies to Deuce hoarders.
Something like: one is too many and 100 is not enough.
    Long live the 32 Ford.

A Tudor that's done, a pile of 5-window, a pile of roadster, a pile of roadster pickup, and a pickup cab or two.

  9. LOL if you had my Willys and I had the pile of 5 window you would be the coolest guy at the fox hunt and I would be on it like Afro-sheen on natural.. :D
You know the only way you'll ever got to it is to go all Benjamin Button on us. :D :D :D

I have got to come up sometime and just look and touch stuff. Maybe late summer if I am invited. :D

Maybe I'm already going Benjamin Button. I keep getting better looking each year.

    You are invited.

  11. It'll take some catching up on my part but maybe by about august.

I do understand the better looking part now if I could just get the better feeling part goin' on.

I'm collecting parts for my '32... The "someday sedan". So far I've got a dropped axle, chrome front backing plates and spindles, a '39 transmission, a banjo rear end, a pair of seats from a P-47, a '40 Ford steering column, a chopped windshield frame, 4 16" Ford steelies with '47 Merc hubcaps and '40 trim rings, a SW Navigator gauge panel, and a shift knob...

Just need the frame and body!

Thanks! I went glass, well, because drag car. Wasn't a financial decision. It made more sense for what I intended. Light as a feather, so easy to work with. I'd feel terrible doing what I'm doing to it in a legit piece of automotive history that old. I'd rather save those for the guys on here that want to build them much more "correct" than I wanted to. To each their own. Mine's purpose built to run hard as hell in a straight line yet drive on the street a lot. Sacrifices must be made for use of modern go fast parts, comfort, reliability. Just tried to build it "in the spirit of".
