I will be there. Riding with a friend this year. Took a greyhound last year - that was a trip to remember. Not taking anything to sell this year - just bringing ca$h. Some friends have spaces on aj just east of the southeast food stand. I'm the crazy guy with the cosmic death ray solar food cooker - hope its sunny !

 

Going to Iola for a day is like going to a movie and leaving after the previews for the next movie. It is a huge swap meet and show.

 

The older you get, the faster time goes by!

 

You start to forget stuff too. This year I hid my own easter eggs.

I begin my 900 mile trip north and east on Tuesday.
I love being a part of the giant traveling carnival that brings a sleepy village like Iola to life each summer!

 

We will be there. My kids plan on buying all the hot wheels cars again.

 

The wife and I will be there thursday and friday. We are staying in Stevens Point.Dont know how close that is but we got a room. RLS

 

Stevens Point is about 30 minutes from Iola...easy drive!!

Question....I usually go on friday morning...are most of the swap spaces set up and ready to sell on thursday morning????

 

Thursday is the best day of the swap. Swappers are set up and there are fewer people there to take advantage of deals. We hit it hard Thursday and Friday and don't even bother going to the swap on Saturday and roll out by noon.

I'll be there Friday looking for 53 chevy stuff. This is the first time i'll be going and have a project.

Anyone know how late the gates are open Wednesday night? I plan to drive up after work but want to make sure I can get in to park next to our camper...

I've been hearing that Wednesday is actually the BEST day for gettting the good stuff. You can get it from the swapper that BROUGHT it, rather than the guy who got it cheap and moved it to his spot with a higher price!!!

make sure and stop by my uncles booth and grab some tools. hes located inside the gate by the car corral, from there you go towards the bathroom and hes right by the BUMPER BOYS. has a motor home best buy on tools guys
