Event Coverage Who is going to Jefferson?

Picture my buddy sent me from yesterday, he said the ducks got the best deal of the day.

 

So how did everybody do for purchases this fall? I walked the whole thing on Friday, had my sandals on so the water just flowed through them. The worst part was walking the 20blocks to the show after we parked because the lots were flooded. I did end up buying a 41-48 Olds dash with great chrome, which I just happened to see on the way out on an aisle that I had already been down and I didn't see the first time through.

 

Sales were OK all things considered.

I actually vended Friday barefoot. After 5 minutes, I had trashed my shoes and sandals.

Didn't get to see Bobwop or many of my other friends. In fact, I was flooded onto my own little island and only left when nature deemed necessary.

 

Vending was down for me but, I still had a great time. Mud was everywhere, but I agree it wasn't as bad as the past. I got the same spot for the spring, fingers crossed for good weather.

My sales were down, but it was an interesting swap meet this year. There were tractors with tanks trying to keep up by sucking up puddles. Vendors were giving them tips.We were not as muddy as some of the spots I went by. They had lots of rain earlier that week and first thing Friday we had a 2 hour downpour and the water had no place to go. Let's hope for dryer weather next spring but then we probably will be complaining about too much dust.After all it is Jefferson.... Gotta Love it!
