it's too cool of an opertunity to miss. two of my personal "hot rod heros" are gonna have "big deal" cars in the show. a once in a lifetime opertunity as i see it.

Don't forget to post the meeting place, also, how about a second time for those who can't get there that early. Like late afternoon. I am trying to skip out of some classes on Friday afternoon, or possibly before I fly home on Saturday afternoon.

Don't i wish!! Any sort of a swap area adds a great dimension to a show. But, there are lots of vendors with pretty cool stuff.

we are still looking into flight info. not sure if we'll fly right in to town or drive from Vegas. still comparing options. it's starting to look like flying right in might be just as cheap as fly to Vegas and driving in from there. these $99 flights to Vegas that are always advertised turn out to be much more expensive when you read the fine print. typicaly it's $99 ONE WAY plus fees so it ends up at nearly $400 to fly to Vegas AND BACK!!

NO SWAP MEET AREA... just like Groucho replied SIX HOURS before you asked. This is a (mostly) indoor car show - not a rod run. There are plenty of vendors, but all are dealers and/or manufacturers and not swappers. If you want to swap, pick up the L.A. Weekly when you're in town - plenty of swinging couples looking for that type of thing.

i will be over at the von hot rod pinstriping deal be sure to stop by and say hi if any of you get the chance and i am always up for mexican food i driving in so i will be good and hungry after 1500 mi.

 

Jimmy - You have anything going on at your shop earlier in the week....about 6-8 of us are coming out from FL on wednesday AM...looking for things to go do or see....one of the guys in our group is close with the Kennedy Bros ...I guess that is a stop....SoCal on Sat morning something is going on.....

Any help with things to do/see for some out of towners getting there way to early would be of help. I here there are some 'hot spots' in west hollywood??
