Mounted my rear bumper, hit the swap meet, mounted the new(to me) 500 steering wheel, and the lakewood traction bars I got as well, today maybe some painting on the upper half of the fire wall. Tomorrow I'm gonna drive it out to my mom n dads with the kids in the back...My wife rode in it for the first time last night and they will go for their first ride tomorrow(now that I have seat belts)! Its gonna be a good weekend!

I replaced the leaky trans pan / gasket & filter in the plymouth.

Found a clapped out trans mount and spent a half hour at the local NAPA identifying it...turns out late 60's chevy. Check.

Carb is off getting a rebuild and should be back early next week. It ran like a two barrel and for good reason according to my carb guy. It was all jacked up.

Would like to get the trans crossmember put back in and rerun the loopdy-loop brake line I have on the rear end so that I can get the brakes bled properly.

I might get back to it if I can get the playground moved for the kids....Priorities, Man!

Giving up an o/t Hemmings show at Lebanon Valley to accomplish way behind schedule stuff in garage.
Got some blasting cabinet jobs to finish for some $ and then get my ass working on 4 projects that all
    need my attention yesterday.
I am much better at getting into projects than finishing them.

Thrashing isn't something I do often, I should have the Lyndwood gas pedal and dash polished by the end of the day. Progress is progress no mater how slow it is. Bob

So far so good, One fender is painted and curing 2nd one is awaiting primer, so is the hood. No one but me and the dog at home so no interruptions. Now where am I going to put all of these painted parts till I am ready for reassembly!!??

oil changes, air ride compressor and air bags test to bring my 50 merc. down on the ground for first time in 7 years, grilling and having few beers with my boys. Monday go cruzin in my 48 chevy and watch the parade to welcome all the boys in USA uniforms, my boy is one of them and I'm glad and thank god he came back save. I Wish the best to all the ones still in the sand box and hopeing they come home soon. Thanks God for the good old usa.

SCREEEACH! Well, I'm done for the weekend. New engine is all together, bolted up the AOD to check header fitment and they dont. I was hoping to get lucky [the headers Bevis!] but what many of my fellow Hambers told me proved true. Got to come up wiyh a plan B for exhaust now.

Well, worked on the '32 yesterday, and was going to clean garage and yard work today, but the 'Lil truck had other plans.

Fuel pump quit and had to get towed. (just easier to work in the drive, plus didn't know what the problem was yet)

Fun sorting out a new old ride!!!

I'm seriously thinking of going back to a mechanical pump!!!

Just hauled home 40 ford truck cab yesterday, got in my new mandrel bent frame rails, now just to smooth the fire wall, replace cab corners, chop the top and build the chassis before the Reunion in Bowling Green. Was wanting to spend more time in shop this weekend but family first.

  24. Not working on anything of mine but I did find this on Friday and I think I just have to have it for another "BIG" family hauler. So I'll be thinking about it this weekend.
