Was the labor free? Having just participated in my entire paint job, seems to me materials alone would be at least 2000 ish for a job like that. No one anywhere around here would have done that job for even double what you paid! Subscribed to this thread!

Phil Whetstone - Philly the Greek on here. He not only has done many restoration lettering jobs, including mine, but he studied with the late Jack Burr who did more race car lettering than Anyone back in the 50's and 60's (including the original job on mine).

Added some headers and bumper

 

Larry Fator on the Altered and Dennis Jones on the dragster and there is also Bob Thompson on the plate (also did the "Showboat", they all price themselves reasonably.

 

This is almost like asking who the best tattoo artist in LA is.... Everyone knows the best, and they are all different.
