Who Is/Was Ray Morrisette ????

Don't want to sound lame here but I have seen Ray Morrisette referred to in conjunction with early rodding photos. Can someone give me some historical background history on this person?

There was a Ray Morrisette that was born on Dec. 15, 1918 (making him thirty years old in 1948). I don't know if it is the same Ray Morrisette. The age seems about right. This one had children named Ray Jr., Jean [Mueller], and Richard.

There is a Ray Morrisette (aka "6 beats 8") that is big into the turbo Buick scene. Maybe a grandson? You could email him and ask. His email is devildogpa@prodigy.net.

 

Totally random question, but bid you buy his SCTA membership card?

 

Hope he didn't spawn that awful shrew Atlantis Morrisette.

Read down to where it talks about the origin of his modeling skills: he attended "a technical high school, where he learned the woodwork, sheet metal and forging skills that have served him his whole life and which he still uses today."

Age is right to have been born circa 1918-19 (88 at the time of the writing of the article sometime in 2007).
