I'll add my two...The 60 Ventura was my dedicated race car but now returning to street duty. It ran a best of 10.05 @ 138. The 69 GP is now the currant drag car. Be 541 C.I. Pontiac powered of course....be looking for some 8 second ET slips. That's the goal anyhow..
I have not updated since 2011. I'm adding my latest pics. It is still not running but the engine configuration is now all done and set. This was the first weekend of April at the local all city Central cruise. Still trailered down but but I'm about to pull the motor back out and put it on a run in stand I'm making to fire it up and run it in. I've still got the Hilborn front cam driven fuel pump in place and all plumbed but I think I'd rather make a front drive distributor so I can deal with ignition settings up front instead of trying to deal with a distributor in the firewall cutout. Then I'll run a good electric pump for fuel. I have that to do, make a dummy distributor to run the oil pump, change the oil pan and pick up and few other things before firing it. A you can see I've changed a few things since I put it in this thread back in 2011. Mark L

Driving a 57 StarChief "Drop Top", gettin' ready for some upgrades, same owner for the last 44 years.
Well, here she is, not much to look at, but she is a 1951 Barnette Combo Ambulance/Hearse. Missing the engine and transmission. According to firewall plate it was built on a Sedan Delivery Chassis. The dash is pretty much stripped, but the guy threw in a 1952 Chieftain 4 door, which has most of the parts that are missing from this one. The 52 is in such good shape I hate to use it as a parts car, The dash is complete and in VERY good condition, interior is good, body is great, all glass in good except pass wing window, only a few minor pieces of trim missing, All hood trim is there, including the Indian Head, ugh decisions, decisions. Anyway, this past week I found an entire front clip for the Barnette for $150, got a front bumper for $25, both are no rust, no dents. Soooo, the project has begun... Can't afford to do total Resto, so more likely going to be a Rat, at least getting it driveable. It was so ugly, I couldn't allow it to remain an orphan.
MY 64 Lemans from California with original Black Plate. Was a one owner up until a little over a year ago.

I haven't owned one for years but about half of my cars have been Pontiacs. I don't know why, but I LOVE them!
57 Starchief "drop top"' Girlfriend has owned it for 43 years. ZZ4 crate motor, 700R4, drives the wheels of off it.
1950 with a sbc vortech supercharged . Just started on some paint work but the most challenging part about this car is finding parts but I'm in love with it
