Latest progress on my 48 convertible..... Rear end has been narrowed and set up with 4.10 posi and 31 spline axles (started out as Lincoln Mark IV). New Rock Valley gas tank........Been running gas lines and brake lines to back of car and can finish them up when rear end and gas tank are fully installed...........Completed running hydro-boost lines to rack and pinion, power steering pump and back to master cylinder.......Just received my new Brassworks radiator with their shroud/spal fan and overflow along with AC conderser. Doing mock up with the radiator now to make sure AC lines will fit properly with core support........Trying to get the car to run and roll on its own so i can begin working on body and dash.........Will do full mock up and shake down before blowing apart to make pretty...........
just aquired my 1950 coach ( not coupe ) 2 ewwks ago , and still surveying the work needed , have to find floor pan braces and inner rockers as I want hem to be solid , rest of body is 95% , someon already did the subframe conversion in the front , I will 4 link it in the rear for 15" wide tires , they cut the wires , no motor ( set up for a sbc) I do PMD and have several motors to choose from . going to be a long project .. mostly money holding it back .
Does a '62 389 and Jetaway in a '55 Chevy truck count? I plucked it from my ex-girlfriend's totalled Star Chief. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
My ol' poncho from 1947, have replaced the straight six with a straight eight. Keeping the three-speed for now, looking for a newer third member to get it a bit more highway-friendly. I might keep it like this, or maybe slam it. Haven't really made up my mind yet since it is a true "survivor".
1948 which is getting a new driveline and mild customizing. Came out of California last year with no engine but new interior.
'39 parts body, and the ugly project ('39) And the '49 straight 8 streamliner I saved from the crusher for $300 this Summer
