Who likes BIG HEADLIGHTS

Have had these stashed for years ---1929 Cadillac headlights (13" dia)
Thought they'd put the crowning touch on the nu roadster.

 

Man, I dig em. I think they look great!

I like them, I think they would look better a couple inches higher.

 

I really like the lights, too, but i think they're too big for the front profile of this particular car. Just my opinion, though, if you like them, keep them!

 

I lik 'em too, but I'd move 'em back closer to the grill if it was my car.

Love em..all my ladys have had em big..oh were talking cars..right!..lol yeah they look great!..im keeping with the original 2 light ford 9"ers on my Tudor. I think the puney ones dont look right

So I found some and put'm on
Pontiac Slim

 

I've got a set and was thinking they may be too big. They are about 12 inches round. They're from a Studebaker President. The chrome on the housing has worn off and the copper is showing through. Thought they'd look good like yours with the housing painted. Still unsure if I want to use them though.

I think they're *****en . . . but a little too far forward. Hell, my last girlfriend had big headlights, but as she got older . . . they just got lower and further from her grill.

 

I have ALWAYS liked'em BIG and setting as low as possible....one of my fondest memories was my first rtrip to YORK PA Fairgrounds....a Model A, channeled and fenderless with BIG commercial(I think thats what they called'em) units mounted on the frame horns, L@@KED killer!

 

I like a mid size light on a car but with a fenderless car they do need to be a little bigger. I'm a 36 Ford light man myself.

As for the other headlights, too big is just scary. Watch the video and be the Judge.

Love 'em. Looks sorta British, like a big old Bentley. On my '36, I'm using the original headlights, they look like big Faberge' eggs to me.

 

Here's 5051's '32 Sedan. I love the big lights,down low. That's the look I want for my Hotrod...

 

I'm in for the biggin's too. Just got a set of 32's for my T.
