I can get those for $100 a piece in 225/75/15 locally but beware that they are no longer making that tire so if you need a replacement you're SOL. That was enough to keep me from using them since the shop only had 4 and can't get anymore.
I thought I liked wide whites after seeing them as the standard on most 32 hot rod builds on here till I saw some step out of the box a bit and run the old style black walls and thought it gave them a more aggressive look. On my 61 uni ford truck I am going to run skinny whites with center caps I like the look better seems to fit the 60s style better then the Happy Days tires. Jake
^^ Cause thats what they ran in the 60s for the most part. You should try Ford dog dish caps cause those caps are deffo older than the 60s
Lol well they are ford 48 style caps and say ford on them I liked them the best I have the original dog dish caps and they are fugly lol. Jake
I prefer skinny whites to wide whites. These are the Champiro/Runway Enduro whites. The forst ones i bought were great and stayed white forever, the second ones turned yellow, but it's nothing a quick spray of Westley's tires bleach every now and then can't fix. They are really good tires for the money.
I've had double pinners on my '62 NY wagon for a while... ...and now they're on my '57 Chrysler, but I think I like them better on the wagon and would rather like a wide white on the '57 instead...
Most Chrysler models had fairly low productionnumbers compared to the other brands. The 6-seater model NewYorker I have in the pic has been made 728 times. There's also a 9-seater wagon which has an even lower productionnumber.
