Projects Who made this?

I have been working on this project with a plan, then tripped over this instrument. If I could find another that shows the temp and fuel, I would change out the dash, to utilize this look.

Does anyone know what kind of car this came from? where to get another?

The project that this may live in is a '28 Chev that has been converted into a Doodlebug tractor. The frame had been shortened and a Ruckstal 2-sp truck rearend installed. It hasn't been started in many years.

I have started working on it, replaced the rearend with one from a '22 Willys Overland. The rig had a Model T cowl so I went with that look, using Model T radiator/shell and engine cover. Use the rear body bucket from the Willys.

Its coming together, at least in my mind. I have it sparking and barking, but no running, yet.

But about that instrument... Any ideas?

    Thanks, Ed.....

  2. It's Chevrolet from the same vintage- someone just painted the plate red (used to be a beige/cream color).

the fuel gauge was in the tank, so no luck there, but who's to say you couldn't get another of the one you have and make your own (they show up frequently on Espay) using modern internals (Ford ****** has nice, small gauges)
