Who makes 49 ford grilles

I don't think anybody makes a reproduction '49 Ford grill. I'm ***uming you mean p***enger car. I think Night Prowlers carried reproduction '50 parking lights, but that's all I've ever seen reproduced for shoebox grill pieces. I'll let you know if I learn otherwise...does anybody know?

 

No reproductions that I have ever seen Best bet is the dreaded Ebay but there is useally some on there.

 

i dont know if dennis carpenter makes em, i know they make 50 ford grills, and i DONT reccomend them, my brother bought one for his car and it started to rust in a few months.

 

I've seen the Dennis Carpenter 50 grill. It looks nice, but I haven't seen one after it has been in use.. not sure of their quality

 

Just start buying the parts and pieces, ebay is a good place to find this stuff and every now and then you can get a good deal. I have a few grille pieces in storage but don't recall which parts and condition. You can PM me with your email address if you want me to look.

I had a terrible experiance with Dennis Carpenter('50 ford grille).Tried to ***emble it and fought it all the way.When i stood back and looked at it it wasn't right.The process to return it was not friendly.It changed my mind about the co..I'm sad to say."we have the original stamps and dies".

 

MACs sells them, but they are probably the same as the Dennis Carpenter one's. I haven't tried them.
