I bought a pair of wheels cylinders a few years ago for my Ford 9". Well after sitting for a few years on the shelf, I installed them and decided to bleed the system, only to find that they are leaking. The seals dried up. These are made by Wagner in mexico. So my question is are there any companies that make there wheel cylinders in the USA or do I have to buy this Mexico or China stuff?

    Thanks

You might check Bendix or EIS.....but for the most part all companies are having their **** built outside the USA.

  3. I'd suggest the the shelf time was more to blame than the country of origin. Seals don't normally dry up when they are being used. In a humid environment you may even see rust in the bores over time.

Hey Rich, Ya that's what happened. I am just blown away that they where in my house and dried up. Anyway I figured since I am buying new ones I would rather buy US made.
