Cheapskates are cheapskates, even some of the most patriotic Americans are cheapskates. If they see wheels for $100 that they like for each made in china they will buy them over 100% American made wheels. Plain and simple.

Its HARD to keep making products that are 100% American and keep the prices reasonable.

We are still making our products 100% American, but its a shame when it seems like 90% of customers could care less. I call it the "Wal-mart" syndrome.

Amen! We look for the cheapest price and don't realize what we are paying is only the down payment. The real price comes later when china calls the foreign trade deficet or cuts off exports. It seems like everything I buy is made in china. What DO we make here anymore...Hershy Bars?? Lose the ability to manufacture and lose your way of life!

Everyone putting chinese wheels on their American Hot Rods.

    I am depressed.

BTW, the comment about M/T importing from Japan; Japan and China are very different countries. We have a healthier trade relationship with them, and they don't enslave children in foundries or rice farms, a**** other ugly ****.

    Haribrand -LOL! fa-ra-ra-ra-ra--ra--ra--ra-ra.

****, I'm on a trad hot hod site and even here it's ok to do business with a communist? Doesn't ANYONE hate communists anymore?

Preach it Brother! Many of us agree with you.

Its time we got back to manufacturing our own products. We can do it and not have to depend on cheap illegal labor.

    My nickle's worth. Rant over.

I just use any excuse to use this image:D

Seriously though, good point -we DON'T have a choice about electronics, or at least very little, but AGAIN, Japan doesn't use slave children to make DVD players. Japan doesn't spend money to attack the US via cyberspace/economics/propaganda, but China does.

Stop with the negative vibes man. Look at the big picture. The chinese are about 40 billion consumers. the more they manufacture and export and make money, the more they improve their lives, the less communist they become. Capitalism is an outgrowth of success, period. They have the drones, but we have the brains and the balls. We'll figure out how to get rich off the whole set up, it's what we do. something will replace manufacturing, just like manufacturing replaced farming. If you have to worry about something, worry about so******m. It's where a democracy goes when all the freeloaders figure out they can vote themselves someone else's money.
so stop worrying about everything except how to get yours. that's what makes capitalism tick. Without a certain amount of envy/desire/greed we'd all be sitting around on welfare. now go make a buck.
