I know this has been discussed before but I purchased some "retro halibrand style" aluminum wheels off of e-bay and they are new in the box but have no company name on them. The boxes are plain white with a magic marker M drawn on them. They are made in china but some one has dremeled a portion of the cast in lettering off the back of each one! The seller claims they are from a company called Majestic Custom Wheel but I can find no such company by that name on the net. Any ideas?
Ideas about what? You got Chinese wheels, they have no pedigree. If they fit and they look good to you then run 'em... BTW...you may want to post an intro, you're already off to a shakey start.
cheap wheel vintique copys......did ya get them from a guy named bill out of columbus....? decent wheels for the money .....i have sold a few sets .....thanks brandon
sorry to upset you CharlieLed. I have now introduced myself. Yes Brandon I did get them from Bill. I just can't understand why other shops don't sell them. They are JWL certified. Just want to know the brand. Get lots of questions.
They are dangerous--They will certainly fall apart on the road. I suggest you send them to me right away and I will get them recycled for you. Let me know if you need my address. Kidding, just run 'em. If they look cool--it's cool.
Do a search here, we have discussed this a lot. I have bought/sold several sets from Bill. Yes they are Chinese and the castings are freakin nice. China will destroy us if we dont get off our ***es. Please keep this on track, my little statement need not let this thread get political!
