I think that car belonged to Mike Stobbe when it was chopped but I'm not sure who owns it now. It has been about two and a half years since I saw that Merc. If you can get ahold of him he might be able to give you the 411 on the chop.

    Hey Ian,

Bo Huff did a 4 door recently called the Dixie Delux for the editor of Old School Rods magazine. It's has a really kool profile to it. I'll see if I can dig up a picture. Sorry I don't have info on the car in question.

That's a pretty sweet ride. One of the most bad *** 4-door chopped customs I've seen.

I agree, the fastback profile is MUCH smoother and suits the body lines better...even if it makes the rear doors and back seat useless for anyone taller than 4 feet :)...

Oh, they were alive at one point, but I can't help it if I tend to forget to feed them while they're locked in the ba*****t...besides, just because they're dead why does that mean the fun has to stop there?...dead girls never say no...

When we did my Zephyr we used a piece of plastic 4" wide, about 10' long, and 1/8" thick. There was a couple of places by ONT airport that sold plastic. As life goes on I'm sure you would find more uses for it. but it does make for a nice line. Roger
