who owns this 5W deuce?

    Can anyone provide info on this 5W that was in Wendover during Speedweek? Owner? Builder? How much roof chop? Thanks, Tim

    Bill Ross outta Yakima built it for a guy named John Bell if I'm not mistaken

    Thanks Chris, Bill also built a hemi powered 5W for John Cherry that was on the cover of April '08 Street Rodder. Is this the same car with a different wheel and tire combo?

    John Cherry, thats it. Didn't think Bell sounded quite right. I'm pretty sure thats the same car

    I love this car...does anyone have anymore pics? Is John Cherry a HAMBer? I have questions.

    I really liked it with the whitewalls. Not so much with the yellow wheels though.

    I'd like to see this one with fenders. I think 2" is the perfect chop for a fendered 5w but this one would look great with fenders.

    Is John Cherry related to Jim Cherry, who had the blackity-black '33 Delivery years ago? Black Fords must run in the family.
