I have don't have a dog in this hunting trip but i have to ask what i guess some will call a stupid question............ What does it matter if it is a "cookie cutter" or not? As long as the person who owns it likes it and it brings him/her satisfaction why does anyone on here care. I Personally do not own a rod but there is not a day that goes by that i don't wish i could afford one regardless of the material it is made from. I understand as much as anyone the basis of what we call a "traditional hot rod" but in the end it all boils down one own personal preference. It would be nice to see gorwn men be a bit more professional in their reply when someone simply ask "who owns this car". Come on guys.
Jeeeez.... You guys are taking my "cookie cutter" remark the wrong way. I merely wondered what questions the original poster could have about the car when everything is pretty much layed out in the pic: motor, suspension, wheels, tires, etc. Nothing ground braking or unusual. So, back to the original post, what "questions" do you have? Rich
You're ***uming there are a lot of "grown men" participating in this forum. I don't post here much but I do read this forum every day and have been doing so for several years. As anyone who has been here a while can tell you, there are a lot of "legends in their own minds" that post on the Hamb. Sometimes its entertaining but when the "traditional police" show up things almost always go down hill, and this thread is a prime example. Yes it would be nice if grown men could answer the OP's question without bashing the car... but chances of that happening here (if the car isn't someone's definition of "traditional") are very slim.
nobody criticized the car! i think a lot of you guys just look to create drama for no reason sometimes. jeez.
Caution Fellas I have been told they get soft & melt in the hot Texas sun. Might be ok in So Cal though
I fricken love the HAMB ( and ****s -- for clarity) i'm ******* my last few minuntes of the work day away lauging out loud !!!!! You guys are the best -- especially you guys that get so defensive...but i say keep it up! the more defensive you get.... the more we are bound to laugh at ya!
Sometimes different is better, and when that happens it gets copied. Once it gets copied enough somebody calls it cookie cutter. I don't see anything wrong with "cookie cutter" cars. I'm sure the first guy is very flattered to have been copied to the point of cookie cutter status.
