I want to take the east route and buy repoped fenders, running boards and splash aprons for a '26/'27 T. Who out there makes them. Thanks

  2. www.poli-form.com Real nice stuff. I bought there 26/27 front and rear fenders a few years ago. Dean
(ps) Also search www.roadsters.com. Lots of links to search. Try hotrod bodies, and go from there.

Why are body parts for 27's so hard to find?

Just so you guys know that was supposed to say easy way out and not east. I am building a '25 TT resto truck. I was wanting to use the '26/'27 fenders rather than the stock ones. Thanks for the help guys.

About 15 years ago I was driving thru ____, Western New Mexico and saw a yard full of old cars and the guy had a flatbed "C"cab with 26-27 fenders stacked about 10 feet high. that's all four sorta nested in each other. musta been several dozen of them bodies too. I tried to get some from him but he said his son owned them when he was gone... he'd have to have been 80 at the time and was changing sone big rig truck tires with hand irons in front of his truck repair, gar-shack.
I'd stopped to take a leak and he said it's around back...yep an out house in the middle of the yard. He had several 40 Chevy tow trucks an original '29 roadster stored in a school bus, several '33 Willys and parked next to the house was his family car, a '39 Ford convertible sedan. on the other side of the house was another model T "C" cab flatbed, with current plates, in the driveway, looking ready to use for work.

So there's your fenders, he had probably every '26-27 T fender in West New Mexico on that flat bed.

Mainly it was just to keep it on the first page.... [IMG]

And right now I'm waiting for an able body to walk past the house to recruit into helping lift this ****ing big and heavy hood off this 60 Elky... [IMG]

DrJ is on-target! An unchopped '26-'27 coupe or Tudor body on a full-fendered '28-'29 ch***is is a Stroker McGurk caricature come to life. The look is good for a roadster or touring as well.

I am building the truck as a flatbed so I do not need rear fenders. I was looking at a couple of the catalogs I have and MAC'S had all the stuff and they seemed to be the cheapest. I will have to check on Rootlieb to see what they have.
