Features who,s running wire wheels

These are the only wheels this car has ever had.

 

I'm running mid 50s 15" Chrysler spoke wheels .I adapted ford hub caps.
I'll post pics if you would like.

I had aftermarket 15" wires on this coupe.



These are 16" Kelsey -Hayes bent spoke wires.



These are 18" original wires.

No body who is running any kind of serious HP and putting it to the ground!

 

I run 35 Ford wires on my flathead cars. That's really the only wires that I've ever cared for including the expensive bent spokes wheels. If not 35 wires, then it's steelies or big window magnesium.

 

if you put em on your high hp and gas it just right you maybe could design your own bent spoke wheels, maybe mash the throttle different each time, different designs. like one off wheels

depends on whether you have a posi, maybe. my flathead dosnt have 6 or 7 hundred hp so my spokes havent bent yet, how ever should I hp up you never know

 

I still love them. 10 years on the road now.

 

After almost 90 years on the road they still run nice! Not a daily but gets the workout when called on to do so...

 

Bent spoke KH 6.50x16 radials. Reverse eye front spring waiting to be installed.
