Well were not all there, so we might be just alittle fubar'd..
Maybe i misunderstood your main post. It just sounded like you were gonna part it out when i read about the price of the console paying for the car..
With that said, i hope you get it and it's 'tight' undernieth..
I'd love to see that put back on the road.

WOW!! i'm anxiously waiting to hear how this pans out for you. if it was a 63 i'd be on my way to Canada right now :D .. i still have ALL the gl*** from my old 63 Impala 2 door hardtop. it should all be the same as that car.

no way would i part that thing. even if the frame is gone, i'd just get another one. i'm no restorer but a complete well optioned 64 Impala would look ***s with some Torque Thrust Ds and cut coils. should be worth some coin too.

Be shure to stick your hand up the back of the drivers seat, might just get your hands on the build sheet there...

I didn't think those cars were that big of deal a friend of mine has 3 64 impala ss behind his house that have been there for years. They could probably be had around the same price ranges but they aren't quite as complete as that one is. I used to have all the 64 ss interior out of one of those in my 60 untill I decided to put a bench seat in my car. I also have a 63 impala factory 4speed center console that used to be in my car to.

lets get smashed & hop the fence at the track. I sat 15 feet from the burnout box on the guard rail for 2 hours breathing freshly roasted meats... i didn't even get caught!

This must be the car you were tellin me about a while back?It looks pretty good for an Ontario field car, probably not been out there for a real long time.I agree, dont part it out,if it needs a frame use the wagon frame ,I think it will work.I would even be interested in the wagon shell if you did that,as I would convert the pontiac to a sedan delivery with it.Hopefully you have got to see it by now, dont keep us in suspense eh!!

Not sure about Canadian built but down this way anything from 327 and bigger had the size ID trim on the fender. I believe the 283 had just a V and no trim for the 6. The SS could be purchased with any available engine.
