Who Wants To be "Famous"? Round-Up Pics Wanted!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BARNETT, Apr 1, 2004.

  1. Well...not really famous, but published. Luke, from the Road Agents, emailed me wanting some pics from the Round-Up. I didn't take any, but told him I would ask ya'll if you had any to contribute. He's wanting them for an article he's doing for a new magazine that he's putting out...http://www.kustomsillustrated.com/Home Page.aspx Luke and his brother, Matt, are good people and it would be cool to see another good magazine out there. He's lookin' for pics from the Round-Up, of Traditional Lead Slead Type Kustoms, since that's the focus of the magazine. Anybody that's interested...send me an email and I'll send you his email addy. You can work out the specifics with him. Thanks.

Dan, did he say why none of the Road Agents are on here? They have the second most bad*** show I've been to and none of them are here.

  8. I'm not sure about the other members, but I know Matt is working on a cool production-type-project. I'll fill everyone in on that later. Apparently, Luke has been busy getting this magazine going. Plus he has all the headaches involved with throwing a major show. Not to mention working on his own rides. I think they lurk, from time to time. I've been trying to get them on the HAMB for a little while...I'm sure it'll happen. They definitely have plenty to offer as far as knowledge and enthusiasm for rods and customs.

And like I said, their show itself, is every bit as good as the Round Up, it's just that New England and Hartford don't share the same hospitable party at***ude, or the "home base" that the Continental Club has to offer. I guess I'm saying that it isn't a weekend long event full of TOO MUCH stuff to do in a weekend.

  10. bttt...Anybody have any pics of cool customs from the RoundUp, that they wanna see in print? Either get with me for Luke's email or you can find it on the website I listed earlier in this thread. Kontinentals? Looks like a good chance to show off the work ya'll did! Hell...you can send him pics of your own slead, if you took it to Austin! [IMG] Too bad I just drive a big, silly van. [IMG]

About that three window...man, all those cars parked togethere in that area under the tree were a trip! I loved them all...I had seen the black 5 window before and dug it because it is such the oppisite of my car but very well done and thought out (oppisite in the sense that I was going for crazy 60's and he has the early vibe going big time [IMG]). I could not get good pics of any of those cars because of the crowds around them and how they were parked...but I spent a lot of time looking at them. I don't know if those guys are all on the HAMB or if I have met any of them in the past or not but let me tell you that THEY ALL HAVE GREAT CARS>>>GOOD JOB GUYS WHOEVER YOU ARE!!! [IMG]

Good god, this post has deteriorated. It seems we all have Hot Roditus. I'm about all hot rodded out. I'm a jack*** (For Sure!), but they all start to look the same to me. Except for the ones that look different. I think you know what I'm talking about...Bobbleed and evilfordcoupe...ect.

Let's focus. I thought Dan was asking about LEAD SLEADS. Let's see some handsom customs. [IMG]

  16. Yep...that Chevy is slick. I saw the ones on the Kont. site, Steve...lots in there to choose from, but somebody has to release them to Luke before he can use 'em. Hook him up! [IMG]
