the car will be displayed at the "GasMonkey" both at the San Francisco AutoRama next week ........ check it out ... ( i wont be able to make it ... more chops to do!)

  3. Why the hellzitgoin way out to San Fran??? Is he trying to peddle it? Shouldn't take long to sell it there. Aside from the GAWDY interior options I hear about, I'd like to see the car finished.

You still up for Waco? It's 4 Fridays from tomorrow.

  10. My favorite part is the fenders, they look like fins but
they don't have any height added. The rolled pan to the
bumper filler piece is a piece of art.

Bass did some nice artwork on it too.

I must admit I requested him to put the skirt on, but it
doesn't fit with the skinny whites.

Could MFS-3 be coming to Dallas???

I agree, Fleetline chops rarely looks as "right" as that one does. Excellent work my friend.

stats on the car .......... 5 inches from the front and 4 inches from the rear. The decklid and the roof were sunk as one piece, with the bodyline kept in place. new inner rear fenders created and a new rear pan. and the 1/4 glass was also shortened 3 inches

Im surprised nobody has said anything about me sitting in "that A."

I have obviously missed something during my absence from the HAMB, but seeing you in that car and doing a little backreading makes it all make sense.
I think that this clearly is a "Yes" to the question that Mr.Rodney King asked.
"Can't we all just get along?"

Mark, the car looks KICK ASS ! ! ! !

Mark your busting ass this week. Where did you get all the fur?

Its hard to tell from the pictures, but the stripes on the dash actually look old and faded. when I saw them I had no idea Bass had striped them hours before. I thought it was an old custom they found that Mark was working on.

I was waiting to here a story on when it was striped back in 1958.

  23. Holy crap thats a nice car. Great job chopping it-that must have been a tough one. Good luck!

That is the best looking chop on a fleetline I have ever seen. I had always thought they look better unchopped but this one changed my mind. WOW.
