    Denise, "have fun with the greybeards in KZOO"-now that was hurtful. We've changed our plans. The Junk Brothers will be leaving Rolla, Mo. very early Thursday morning to make registration in Kalamazoo before closing. We'll attend KZOO on Friday and head for Indy early Sat. morning. We'll see you there. Hate that we'll miss the happenings at GodSpeed and the Spam-O-Rama at Bubba's. We've enjoyed those in the past. Sam

    I am hoping to make it for a few hours.

    Was planning to bring the '55. Instead I have some major mechanical issues to work through.

    Worse than that, my wife had a bad fall a couple of weekends ago resulting in two very serious compound dislocated ankles and 6 ruptured ligaments (and as they say on COPS, "I didn't do nuthin!"). That pretty much seals up the rest of the summer for both of us...

    I might have a little company business in Friday and am hoping I might sneak over to the racetrack for a couple of hours. Will see how the week plays out.

    Hello All,
    The Gasoline Alley sign is between the inside suites and just west of the actual Indy Garages (rows of garages) above the entrance from Gasoline Alley to pit road. Like you said, it should be really easy to find. (Personally, I wouldn't ask anything from a yellow shirt!!!) Look forward to seeing everyone there!!! E

    Thanks Denise for all your kind words. I hope to be able to meet some hambers this weekend, I will be at swap registration all weekend.I still have swap meet and car 4 sale corral spaces available for the Goodguys Indy event if anybody needs one they are $60.00 for a 10 x 20 space and include 1 weekend p***. We are on the asphault parking lot to the left of the museum in turn 1. Please call me at 317-281-1003 if anybody has questions. I have been out the track a couple times preparing for the event and I believe this is the nicest facility around for our show. Looking forward to good weather and goodtimes. Enter gate 2 off 16th Street in front of the museum and watch for signs. Thanks Brad Roe

    Hi, Denise - we'll be there in the campground part of Friday and Saturday. We're on our way somewhere else - so we'll be carless. Saw you at Frankenmuth, but didn't get close enough to yell at you !:D I was busy judging.......

    Congrats on the Top 25 at Frankenmuth. My buddie Bob (Blue 1935 Chevy) said he shared honors with you.

    I'll be setting up in the swap meet also for the first time in years. While it was raining all last night I was afraid the weather was going to follow us to the Speedway but it looks good now. I'm excited for the new location and can't wait. I know a lot of people are upset about no drag racing but for me it can't get any more historic and traditional than Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

    [IMG] *** Stolen Car Alert *** 1932 3w Hot Rod of the Year Contender
    <HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #e5e5e5; COLOR: #e5e5e5" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and ***le -->
    <!-- message -->I think I'm going to be sick...Jason Smith from Hot Rod Garage just called me about 10 minutes ago from Goodguys Indy...the 3w they built for Steve Kormandy was stolen about 2 hours ago from their hotel parking lot.

    The coupe is a full fendered all steel 3w with candy root beer paint and Halibrands...easily recognizable. It has a monster 409 with twin carbs...car is worth several hundred thousand dollars.

    The *******s stole the whole truck and trailer, moved it to a different location, stole everything in the trailer...then returned the truck and trailer BACK to the hotel parking lot! Brazen.

    Jason said several cars and trucks/trailers were stolen last night. I'll have pics up as soon as Jason can send me some...he's kinda busy with the Police right now.

    CAN WE POST THIS AS A STICKY? THANKS...

    I've been waiting to see event pix and write-ups.. but certainly not this. It almost sounds like a organized gang, eh, with so many thefts? REALLY sorry to hear this. Hope they all get found. Gary
